iMom Omega is a food supplement containing Omega 3, vitamins and minerals.
It provides supplements of omega 3 fatty acids, B vitamins, folic acid and biotin, which are especially needed by expectant mothers.
The patented 4th generation folate (Quatrefolic) used in its formula is an active form of folic acid. It provides high bio-stimulation by direct use of folic acid in the body without the need for transformation. In this way, folic acid is quickly and easily absorbed, helping to overcome the folic acid deficiency of expectant mothers.

The main functions of the active ingredients in iMom Omega's formula

Supplemental folic acid intake increases the folate level of the expectant mother. Low folate level is a risk factor for neural tube defects in fetal development. *
- Intake of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) by the mother contributes to the normal brain and eye development of the fetus and breastfed babies. **
Vitamins B6, B12 and Iron play a role in the formation of red blood cells.
- Folate (folic acid) has a role in cell division.
- B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, Folic Acid and Iron, Iodine minerals contribute to normal energy generation metabolism.
- Vitamins B6, B12, D and Zinc, Iron, Selenium minerals help the normal function of the immune system.
* The beneficial effect can be achieved by taking 400 µg of folic acid daily as supplements at least 1 month before and 3 months after pregnancy.
** Beneficial effect in pregnant or breastfeeding women is achieved when 200 mg of DHA is taken in addition to the recommended daily intake of omega-3 fatty acids for adults (eg 250 mg DHA and EPA).
